US seeks Israeli hegemony in Middle East:
“So the United States is really ensuring that the Middle East remains a cauldron of violence and aggression,” Forer said.
“Israel is the linchpin, it’s one of the major causes of all the unrest in the Middle East and all of the anger towards the United States because of the way the United States allows Israel to oppress the Palestinians,” he added.
Washington helps create the conditions that inflame extremism in the Middle East that it claims to fight, he argued.
Forer said the Obama administration’s plan to deliver advanced fighter jets to Israel next year shows that Washington is exempting Israel from international law.
US VICE PRESIDENT JOE BIDEN ON THURSDAY PROMISED THE DELIVERY OF NEW F-35 FIGHTER JETS TO EASE US-ISRAELI TENSIONS AND HELP ISRAEL MAINTAIN ITS MILITARY EDGE IN THE REGION.
Biden said Israel would be the only one in the Middle East to have America’s “fifth-generation aircraft.”
Under a $3 billion contract inked between Tel Aviv and Washington in February, the US agreed to sell 14 more F-35 aircraft to Israel. The delivery of the first batch of the jets will start by the end of 2016 and will continue to 2021.
Speaking at Israel’s embassy in Washington, Biden also attempted to downplay the bad blood between US President Barack Obama and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
The report said Obama has been meeting with Jewish and pro-Israel figures in the US to publicly reduce tensions with Israel and demonstrate its support for the Zionist regime after weeks of public feuding between Obama and Netanyahu.
The White House is making a concentrated effort to reaffirm the United States’ commitments to Israel despite policy disagreements between the two countries in order to prevent the erosion of the Democrats’ political advantage with Jewish voters.
